The Legend is Back: Double Decker Taco Review I was absolutely thrilled to see the Double Decker Taco make its limited-time return to Taco Bell's menu. This is pure nostalgia in a sleeve! The brilliance of the Double Decker is the texture contrast—you get the immediate, familiar crunch of the hard shell (with seasoned beef, lettuce, and cheese inside), immediately followed by the soft, pillowy chew of the flour tortilla, held together by that layer of warm, savory refried beans. The beans act as the perfect "glue," binding the two shells together and adding a comforting, earthy flavor to the whole experience. It successfully combines the best parts of a soft taco and a crunchy taco into one handheld item. While simple, it’s a brilliant item that deserves to be a permanent fixture! If you grew up eating this, it's a must-have trip down memory lane. If you've never had one, grab it before it's gone—it’s the perfect blend of soft and crunch.

I’m very pleased with this Taco Bell location, So I think it’s time I leave a review. I’ve been coming around midnight, and the service is always great, with consistently high-quality food. I keep my order simple and always receive it correctly. While I’ve seen mixed reviews, everyone’s experience will differ, but I want to highlight the night crew for their excellent work. They’re always kind, and I leave with a full stomach every time. The overnight crew deserves more recognition—especially the two ladies working as cashier and cook. As someone who has done both jobs, I can confidently say they’re doing an amazing job!

I honestly go to Taco Bell all the time and am disappointed most of the time but on 8/13/25 at the taco on north Frazier at 6:15pm, was probably the best Taco Bell food I’ve had since I was a kid. They actually put meat and cheese on the tacos I got. Now I’ve been to this same location before and it’s been horrible but the people working there today and at this time, I applaud you for not making absolutely pathetic tacos with little to no ingredients. And thank you for being nice and not just looking miserable like in an ASPCA commercial.

The cashier at the register is friendly and kind, she double checks your order to make sure it's right. The food is always hot sometimes there is a little wait but the food will be hot. The tables and chairs are wiped down every hour. And the store is a great place to unwind with the peaceful friendly atmosphere.
